I had never been to a one on one nail studio before, and I initially really liked the concept, especially since I have anxiety. It felt more private and comfortable at first. I will also say upfront that I probably should not have mentioned early on that I was planning to leave Tran a good review before the service was even finished, that was my mistake.
However, things changed during my appointment. While getting a basic pedicure, I was asked multiple times to angle my foot a certain way. I did my best, but I have a metal rod in my leg and physically could not adjust it further. When I explained that, the interaction felt frustrated and uncomfortable.
During my full set, I also felt uneasy. I requested a cat eye French acrylic tip, and while the result was okay, the overall experience did not match the price. For cuticle work, short acrylics with cat eye, an additional charge, plus a basic pedicure, also including cat eye, without callus removal, the total came to $140, which felt excessive for the quality and service.
Additionally, while she was working on my nails, she repeatedly shook my hand and told me to relax, even though I already was. I have had my nails done many times over the years and have never experienced that before. Combined with the earlier interaction, it made me feel uncomfortable, and by the middle of the appointment, I was just ready to leave.
I still tipped $15 because I respect the work and understand this is a small business, but overall, the service and experience did not meet my expectations. I hate to leave a negative review, but I feel it is important to be honest. I would not recommend.

Good work, however, I just don’t understand how the basic gel pedi had always been $40 (no designs, but French pedi would be $50 :/ ) and just a few weeks later, the price increased to $55 for the same basic gel pedi- without notice.
Upon payment, I asked the price to be sure as she didn’t mention the amount, and she said $55. So I said ‘oh wow, the price increased?’ & all she said was ‘yeahhhh increased’.
If I didn’t ask, would I have paid my regular amount? Seems odd to me.

I love my pedi. Tran did an amazing job and she is supper friendly. I have finally found my nail spot. I highly recommend her.

I have been going to Tran for a little over a year now. I followed her over when she opened her own shop. When you find someone that does nails and other services the way you want, you become loyal and follow them. She hasn’t disappointed me yet. And I bring to her some very creative designs to replicate. If you’re looking for that one on one personal touch, she’s the one! Check her out. You won’t be disappointed.
