Reached out to Josh to do some caulking and painting around my garage and he was nice enough to notice my front door and weatherstrip. He tried his best to fix the door and weatherstrip.
However, he charged me a distance fee after he did all the work, which, technically speaking, is illegal, but I understood since he traveled from Maricopa to Chandler. We agreed to $125 for the caulking – no other fees were discussed. For the travel fee, door (still crooked, which is fine, but does latch better), and the weatherstrip (which fell), he added an additional $75.
In the end, I did pay the $200 because it was a one-time transaction for me. Josh was very nice and did a great job with the garage. The only issue was the transaction left a bitter taste in my mouth.
As a business, no matter how small, needs to be a little more transparent, especially when it comes to unapproved fees. A small business cannot grow if breach of contract happens from something as simple as travel fees.
We are new to the area and gave Josh a call. He communicates quickly, gives a fair price and does a great job. He is knowledgeable and considerate. He helped install a very large TV and replace a fan. We will have him install a railing for our pool next. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and are glad we chose Honey Do This Home Repair!
I requested a quote for some electrical work to be done with Honey Do This Home Repair and met with Josh. We worked through the idea, set up a plan and Josh executed all the way through completion. He is very knowledgeable and trustworthy and I would reccomend him to help you out with any of your home renovations plans or ideas. Look forward to working with you again Josh, thank you!
Fast, friendly, honest and great prices. Josh will be my go to for all repairs. I needed a spot light installed in my backyard. Not only did he install he assisted my elderly dad with the app on his phone. Thank you
As a licensed real estate advisor working with clients daily, choosing the right vendor matters. When I refer someone, it reflects directly on me—so reliability, quality, and professionalism are non-negotiable.
I recently had Josh from Honey, Do This Home Repair out to a property in Gilbert for light plumbing work. He arrived on time, his pricing was extremely reasonable, and he handled the plumbing repair efficiently and correctly the first time.
While he was there, he also adjusted the side gates on the property so they functioned perfectly—and did not charge me for that additional work. That says a lot.
Josh is a veteran, and I make a point to support those who have served. Freedom is not free, and character matters.
Finding someone you can count on, who does solid work at fair prices, is harder than it should be these days. If you’re looking for help with plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, or general home repairs, Josh is your guy. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again or refer him to my clients.
