Oak & Fork

Oak & Fork was one of the best meals of our Arizona trip and easily exceeded our expectations for a casino resort restaurant. We arrived fairly late—probably within 30 minutes of closing—and never once felt rushed. The staff was gracious, welcoming, and attentive throughout the entire meal, which set the tone for a wonderful evening.

The atmosphere strikes a great balance between upscale and comfortable. The dining room feels polished without being pretentious, making it equally suitable for a special occasion or a relaxing dinner after a day at the casino.

The food was excellent from start to finish, with thoughtful preparation and presentation that felt more like a standalone destination restaurant than a hotel amenity. Service was knowledgeable and well-paced, allowing us to enjoy the experience even as the restaurant was preparing to close.

What impressed us most was the hospitality. Many restaurants begin stacking chairs and subtly pushing guests out near closing time. Oak & Fork did the opposite. The team made us feel welcome from beginning to end, and that level of service is becoming increasingly rare.

If you’re staying at Harrah’s Ak-Chin, don’t overlook this restaurant. In our opinion, it’s one of the property’s strongest amenities and reason enough to make a reservation. Five stars.

Staying at the hotel/casino and had this restaurant twice. 1st time we ordered the O&F Steak medium rare and it was good.
Ordered the Garlic Butter Focaccia and it was Devine!!

However service was rushed. We barely sat down and was asked which appetizer we wanted and drinks. We asked for a moment and it seemed to bother the waitress. Once we placed our order and received our meal not even half way through the steak dinner we get asked what would we like for dessert. Again I said I’m not even close to finished with my meal give me a chance to finish. Again she seemed bothered and within less than 10mins came back and said she know we want dessert and it would be best to order now. It was barely 7:15pm not even close to closing time.

Fine I felt pressured so ordered even though we weren’t even done with dinner so ordered it to take to the room. Mind you still not done with our steak and she drops off dessert and the bill. Wow. Not a plesant experience.

2nd time I go all I wanted to do was place an order to go to the room so I can relax eat and not be rushed. However I was told they don’t allow TO GO ORDERS.

I was a bit surprised so sat at the bar so I wouldn’t be rushed. Ordered the pasta as it came with caesar salad and Focaccia bread. I received my order of caesar salad, zucchini pesto with chicken yet NO bread. So I asked the waiter and he states the bread isn’t served with the zucchini pasta as it’s a gluten free option. Well dam I just love zucchini pasta and no where on the menu does it say no bread included if you order that dish. Any way the waiter says he’ll bring me some. The bread was hard and stale definitely different from when the appetizer Focaccia that I order the last time I ate there. The Focaccia was not good. The chicken in my pasta was also very dry and had no flavor. It was like having boiled chicken.

Over all this place is a hit or miss.
I would love to know if this place actually doesn’t offer or allow TO GO ORDERS.

Great food, good wine list, and excellent service. I was invited to the soft launch many years ago, and my level of expectations is still met today. Whether you’re looking for an intimate night out or a spot to sit back with friends and have a few drinks, this is an excellent choice. Reasonably priced and our go-to for date night. Debra is our favorite host, and we really enjoyed chatting with her. Would recommend this place.
