I walked in at 8:30PM and was greeted with a, “Can I help you?” Not what I was expecting entering a restaurant, so I asked if they were open. She told me the kitchen closed a half an hour ago. That would have been at 8PM. (I thought they were open until 10PM). I thanked her. She asked, “What’s up?” I said, “I was just looking for food,” and then left. I went onto Google to find somewhere else and noticed it said their kitchen closes at 9PM. This was also confirmed on their website. Cool business.

Cool vibe but $6.50 for a bottle of Corona at a dive bar and waited 5+ minutes to be noticed by bartender on a very slow Sunday night. While I sat at the bar.

The place has a very eclectic atmosphere, the service is top notch and the Food!
I had their Cheesy burger. From the first bite to the last bite it was delicious! The burger was cooked perfectly and the Bun is heaven!

Since I started eating at this establishment in January of 2025. I always find a time to go have lunch there. I’ve tried their Fish basket, the Pizzas, several of the different flavors. I’ve had their wings, their sandwiches and even their smash burger. I haven’t tried a dish that I dont like!
And as always the service is always friendly and consistent, which means very good!

I took a friend to eat at Raceway Bar and Grill located at 49237 West Papago Road in Maricopa, Arizona on a Tuesday, just before noon. There is a sign on the door stating, “Please wait to be seated.” After standing there for about a minute, one of the patrons told us that we should just sit down and the server would find us, so we did. The ambience of the place might be described as retro, with a lot of license plates from various states and eras, as well as old signs and various old stuff used as decoration. A server quickly brought us some menus and took our beverage orders. After bringing our beverages, she took our food order. My friend ordered 8 wings and a beer, and I ordered 8 wings, onion rings and a coke. The total bill including tax was $49.64. Our wait time was reasonable and she brought our food hot and fresh. The wings were very good, as were the onion rings. We both enjoyed our meals and will probably visit this place again, even though it seemed pricey for what we got.

We were greeted with a warm friendly smile and advised we could have a seat anywhere. We chose to sit on the patio since it was a beautiful day. Our server, Dawn, was very sweet and attentive. She joked with us and made our visit so much fun. The food was ALL so delicious! We started with the Jalapeño poppers which were beyond delicious..they are a MUST TRY! I had the fish and chips. The fish was very lightly battered and lots of it. It wasn’t just a chunk of dough where you can’t find the fish. My husband and brother-in-law shared a medium pizza and finished it all. It was so full of toppings and cooked to perfection. They couldn’t leave any of it 🤣 We are staying in Tucson for the winter but I would make the 1.5hr drive back to dine here again.
