First time at this location in Maricopa, Arizona. I’ve been to Slim Chicken in Owensboro, Kentucky and had great experiences. So I was thrilled to see that there are locations here in the Southwest.
The service is always outstanding! Warning greeted, far, professional and fresh.
The restaurant is always very clean and presentable. Clean bathrooms, tables, floors and the diner smells good.
If you like Cane’s chicken, this is actually BETTER. Much bigger variety of meals, desserts, and specials. You won’t be disappointed

I don’t eat much fried food, but as soon as I stepped into this restaurant, it brought me back to my roots in southwest Missouri.
I seriously was greeted with warm Midwest hospitality that made me think I was no longer in Arizona.
The food was hot and fresh and the tenders were flavorful without even any dipping sauce.
Kendria was also absolutely amazing and made sure she took the time to greet me and make sure my meal was to my satisfaction.
I’ll definitely have to come back

The chicken was served hot, but the fries were cold. If you’ve never eaten at a Slim Chickens, I find their chicken strips are on the small side, so you may want to consider ordering at least one more piece than you would at say Raising Canes. The restaurant was clean and the service was okay. They have a large selection of dipping sauces but unlike other places, they’re pretty stingy with them, charging for extras. Until Maricopa gets another chicken finger place, Slim Chickens will have to do.

We stopped here because the name “Slim Chickens” really stood out.
They have fried mushrooms which was a huge plus. They tasted really good, but we received them luke warm. That was a pretty big disappointment. They had a great flavor though.
The chicken strips were tender and juicy. Really enjoyed those and they came out hot which was a plus. The Buffalo sauce was good, but there was hardly any kick. Also had bone-in hot wings with 5 alarm sauce. They had a huge kick and great flavor, but again they were luke warm.
Sadly, most of the food was a bit warmer than cold. Good taste though.

I came on the opening day, the line was long, but moved surprisingly fast, you can tell this is definitely going to be a hit in Maricopa for long. And the wait was definitely worth it for the chicken, I ordered the three and three chicken, tender and wing plate and I loved it, the chicken was crispy and so where the wings and they had a nice flavor, they got the food out surprisingly fast and it was not under cooked or anything. The fries were seasoned to perfection as well. The workers kept going up to our table, making sure everything was okay and asking if we needed any sauces, I don’t know if the hospitality was this nice due to it being the first day, but whatever it was I very much enjoyed it and will be coming again!! I also hope they will all remember me, I was the girl who was very excited to be there, and I’m sorry I don’t remember most of their names, but all of the workers were unbelievably nice, even though they had to deal with so many people that day!
