AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

Gabriel and the mechanics at AAMCO are incredible. They worked with the warranty company with Carvana on my expedition and they pushed to get the parts my car really needed. Now she drives almost perfectly. Great communication and have been nothing but patient and kind. They work promptly and ensure they do their very best. I recommend this particular AAMCO. One of the best experiences I’ve had with a shop.

WARNING! WARNING! Stay away from this business SCAM! I called to get a quote for a new transmission. I spoke with Gabriel over the phone. He would not give me a quote for a new transmission. Instead he convinced me that they would interrogate the TCM for faults and only replace the individual components of the transmission that are bad. He said they’d try to save me some money… So like a fool, I brought my truck in, payed them a 900 dollar deposit only to have them completely dismantle my transmission then call me and tell me they can put a new transmission in for $10,000!! What a joke. I told them no way. Then they want another $450 to put it back together!! Again, told them no. So they just put all the parts in the back of my truck and I had it towed away. The owner of this business should be ashamed of himself for deceptive business practices. I’ve been telling everyone I know in Maricopa not to go to AAMCO! Do yourself a favor and take your car to a reputable business like Copa Mechanic where the mechanics actually troubleshoot and try to fix your vehicle. Not scam you for $10,000. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY AT SCAAMCO!

I have an older car and auto shops didn’t want to take it bcuz you can’t just plug it into a computer and find out what’s wrong. AAMCO not only took it on but they finished it in 2 days even with the holidays coming up. They went above and beyond and even followed up to make sure we were fully taken care of and the car was doing great. I would definitely recommend.
